First room of many in this old farmhouse.We refinished the hardwood floor by sanding off the old paint and applying a rustic burnt finish. To seal and protect the floor, we applied three coats of a clear matte finish. Prior to painting, we repaired several holes in the ceiling and added a piece of trim. The new color scheme of the trim, walls, and ceiling is impressive.
